Ricky’s Race For Kids
112 Laps SOLD:
September 12, 2009, Claremont, NH – The Miller Family announced
today that 112 laps for the Ricky’s Race for Kids have been
sponsored in full. Over $3,000 has been raised thus far for David’s
House with 112 laps sold and presale of raffle tickets for donated
prizes to be drawn on October 4th. “This is a great start to funds
being raised for David’s House” Donnie Miller said “but there is so
much more yet to give to such a great cause”. In efforts to continue
raising money for David’s House fans can now come one step closer to
being part of a modified race team. Sean Bodreau driver of the
number 44 with the True Value Modified Racing Series has donated the
body of the number 44 modified for fans to be part of the team.
For a small donation of $25.00 fans can have their name displayed on
the 44 modified who will be racing October 4th in the 2nd annual
Ricky’s Race for Kids. Bodreau said “as long as you leave me enough
windshield to see the rest is yours” to Donnie Millers fund raising
idea. Each contributor to sponsor space on the #44 will have their
name, or choice of wording, displayed on the 44 in 2” high letters.
On race day, October 4th, those who have purchased real-estate on
the #44 will go track side to have a group photo taken with car and
driver of the 44.
Those who are interested in having their names in vinyl on the #44
modified can do so by contacting the Miller Family or using the
donation button as shown on the front page of
www.rickysraceforkids.com.
